Counting down...

After injuring myself on the first day of the World Youth Congress, and spending the second day at the hospital, I will finally have surgery to replace the torn ligament in my left knee. After a month of pain, limping and knee instability, I can’t wait to have it fixed

Its supposed to be a simple procedure, its all done with arthroscopy, which means small scars. They will use another knee tendon to rebuild the ACL(anterior cruciate ligament), and use some three screws to fix it in the correct place. It should all be done in 2:30 hours.
I'm ok with the general idea of surgery, its just the part of drilling holes in my bones that bothers me…

Any way, even with a sore knee I really enjoyed the WYC, made many good contacts, met new and old friends there, and had lots of fun. It was worth it :)

I’ll post some pictures of the WYC soon…

Ps: after the surgery a x-ray of my knee will look something like the image above. Cool, right?
